The Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset, Mr Mohammed Saddiq was joined by his Vice, Mr Ted Allen DL at the BBC Radio Somerset Make a Difference Awards 2024. The ceremony, held at Quantock Lakes in Nether Stowey, was a humbling experience, showcasing the incredible efforts of 32 finalists who were recognised for their exceptional contributions to the community. Categories celebrated included Fundraiser, Volunteer, Community, Great Neighbour, Bravery, Green, Carer, and Animal, highlighting the diverse ways individuals have gone above and beyond to support the Somerset community.
