Business Leaders Gather in Weston
More than 100 local and international businesses gathered for a business breakfast organised by Weston College. It was a pleasure to be there. An inspirational talk was given by acqui Ford, the Acting Principal and CEO of the college. Jacqui spoke about the growth of the college since 2001. The college offers education and vocational training to more than 30,000 students. Partnership working with businesses and supporting social mobility were key areas of focus for the college moving forward. The business guest speaker was Brandon Reynolds, European Director for Epic, a US based healthcare software company, established in 1979. The company has a plan to create a new campus in North Somerset, creating 2,000 new jobs.
