On Friday 22nd November, Mrs Olivia Winterton DL represented the Lord Lieutenant at the Cancer Research UK BIG BREAKFAST fundraiser at the Temple Methodist Church in Taunton, by kind invitation of Dave and Chris Chapman, secretary of CRUK Taunton group. This is a very well attended annual event at which the serving High Sheriff, Rob Beckley and his wife Sue were also present along with other civic dignitaries and many local supporters of this important, local charity. A team of busy kitchen volunteers served a steady stream of visitors with full English breakfasts from 08:30 through to 12:30. The Methodist Hall was buzzing with warmth and chatter on a seasonally bright and chilly morning, and all left feeling very well nourished.
