On March 26th, the Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset Mr Mohammed Saddiq was delighted to welcome HRH The Prince of Wales, to the Duchy’s inaugural ‘Next Generation’ event at Folly Farm, nr Pensford. Here, His Royal Highness met young farmers and participated in a panel discussion on the importance of mental resilience, hosted by Vic Hope, Countryfile host. The visit coincided with the announcement of His Royal Highness’s new role as Patron of ‘We Are Farming Minds’, a Duchy of Cornwall supported charity, set up to help farmers experiencing isolation and mental health issues.
