On Saturday I attended the Mayor’s installation event at Wells Town Hall. Cllr Jasmine Brown was elected as the 650th Mayor of Wells at a ceremony attended by the full City Council and many dignitaries from neighbouring towns, family and friends. Three pupils from Wells Blue school played music during the event and the choir from Chewton Mendip Primary School performed a fantastic piece for everyone. Also in attendance was the High Sheriff 0f Somerset, Mr Rob Beckley.
