The King’s Award for Voluntary Service has been presented by the Lord-Lieutenant to Refugee Aid from Taunton (RAFT). This organisation provides a hub for items needed by displaced people locally and worldwide and connects many organisations that work for the well being of refugees and the homeless.  Nothing is wasted and no one needing help is turned away. The volunteers gathered in their Taunton warehouse to celebrate their efforts and explain how they operate. Their enthusiasm and commitment very well deserves this recognition.
