The Vice Lord-Lieutenant Ted Allen DL and Brigadier Nigel Beacom DL represented the Lord-Lieutenant at the Families Day at RNAS Yeovilton this morning.  Over 3,000 serving members and families braved the weather to turn up to a fascinating event with a range of service related charities and military units.  The highlight of the day was of course seeing the vast array of past and present aircraft and helicopters.  It was a delight to see the faces of the very happy children as they emerged from their flight in a helicopter. Many congratulations to the Base Warrant Officer and all others involved for bring the event together.
